Cherrie has worked for a wide range of publications over the past 11 years in both fashion and beauty, including The Daily Express, S Magazine, Glamour, New Woman, New Weddings, More!, Looks and Minx magazine. During her time at The Express, Cherrie assisted on photoshoots in Barbados, Brazil and Cannes before taking a break from the media industry, to focus on being a mother. Throughout, Cherrie continued to work, part-time as a beauty consultant for luxury brand Lancôme, where she further developed her knowledge and passion in skincare and cosmetics. As a result, her writing skills are essentially ‘beauty’ orientated.
Most recently, Cherrie was the Beauty Director at SOULNouveau.co.uk, of which she also helped launch in October 2007. Since it’s closure in February 2009, Cherrie has set up an online boutique and pop-up shop featuring niche brands loved by A-list stars at TheRubyCarpet.com Plus she has contributed to the beauty pages of kalimocho.co.uk from the creators of ivillage.co.uk, Scarlet Magazine and BusyGirlsGuide.co.uk
